@ Geoff Mccullough: Just eat healthy! Have fresh fruits or vegetables at least twice a day, try to steer clear or high fructose corn syrup, as since it says in the name: it is high fructose. Fructose in huge amounts is very hard on your body to digest, as much of it processes in the liver.

I have been on this diet before, and it works great. you just have to remember to follow up with healthy lifestyle!!

Best thing you can do after the diet: Cook your own meals! Then you know exactly what is in them, and you'll be aware that "oh hey, there is a half a cube of butter in this!!" or "gee, that's a lot of sugar I'm putting in this..." It helps to keep a food diary, and after a while you'll learn what is good for you and what not!! Record how you feel on the days too, so you'll know if your emotions affect your intake, or the other way around.

There is no right or wrong way to diet, and no miracle foods (sorry...) but if you just hang in and eat fresh foods, then you can eat as much as you want and God only knows: you might actually learn to LIKE eating raw veggies!!

Good luck!! And no happy dieting: Happy living!!! You are beautiful!!

I have followed this diet to the letter. I have not cheated. I may have lost a pound. Hard to tell because there is a constant fluctuation on the scale. I may also have lost an inch around my waist - maybe. That is it! So much for a 10-17 lb. weight loss. I really only want to lose 10-12 lbs. I am diabetic & insulin-dependent - is it possible that can have an effect on the weight loss? Tomorrow is Day 7 - I am not holding out for anything miraculous happening on the last day. I don't want to give up & may go for an additional week. Haven't decided yet. H E L P !!!

Kathleen...I don't believe eggs or egg substitutes are are on the diet anywhere....I wouldn't use them. I have used this diet in the past and lost 10 lbs. in one week. I'm doing it again for 7 days....then going to eat lower quantities of good healthy meals for a few weeks before doing it again.

I lost 17 lbs the first 3 days then .5-1 lb a day after that for a total of 20 lbs. I then went off the diet for 4 days and ate a lot of junk food and gained 10 lbs back. I started 2 days ago and lost 2.5 lbs again. I plan to stay on the diet to loose 50 lbs. I would like to know if I can use pam spray to cook mushrooms and onions? And also if egg substitute can be used so I can make a spinach omelete? Does anyone have a answer? God Bless and good luck to all dieters.
