I only lost 6 lbs in my first week, why? I followed everyday just as it said and didn’t cheat.

Carolyn, everybody is different. if you are a healthy individual you may have less water weight to lose. As stated above there is no proven or creditable proof that this diet will work, but from my experience i lost 12 pounds on week one and another 6 from working out (swimming) in week two without the diet. But weight watchers did very well for many people I know. My mother lost 70 pounds with W.W diet in 8 months with proper exercise.

I did this diet last year and lost 7 lbs eventhough I cheated a little bit on the 6th and 7th day. My wife did it too but she lost 5 lbs and stopped during day 6. I think the weight loss just depends on the person. I just started again yesterday and I’m going to add exercise to the program and see what happens. I’ll post again in a few days. Wish me luck.

Can any food be substituted for the bananas? I am allergic to them.
